Exporting evidence for assessors
When it's time to sit your actual Cyber Essentials assessment, you'll want your asset data in a form you can hand over or reference alongside the questionnaire.
The Cyber Essentials page
Your first stop is the Cyber Essentials page itself — it shows your score for each of the five controls, and a named list of issues per control (which specific device, software record, or account needs attention). This is the clearest evidence of where you stand and what's been remediated.
CSV export
Go to Organisation and find the Export data card. From there you can download your Devices and Software as CSV. Both exports include the underlying Cyber Essentials fields alongside the standard asset data — firewall status, malware protection settings, patch dates, and so on — so you can hand the file directly to an assessor or keep it as a dated snapshot.
Tip
Export a fresh CSV right before your assessment window opens — it gives you (and the assessor) a clear, timestamped record of your estate's state at that point.
What's not currently exportable
User account data (admin status, MFA) is visible on the User Accounts page and factored into your Cyber Essentials score, but isn't yet included in a CSV export — reference it directly from the User Accounts list if an assessor asks for it.
