Is the free trial really free?
Yes. The Base plan includes a 14-day free trial with no payment required to explore. You'll only be charged once the trial ends and you choose to continue.
Can I upgrade from Base to Professional later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade at any time from your billing settings. Your existing data carries across and you're charged the difference pro-rata.
What happens when I hit the 50-asset limit on Base?
ClearAsset will let you know when you're approaching the limit and prompt you to upgrade. You won't lose access to existing records.
Do you offer annual billing?
Currently all plans are billed monthly. Annual billing with a discount is on our roadmap — join the mailing list or check back soon.
What does 'Cyber Essentials aligned' mean?
ClearAsset structures your asset data to match the device and software inventory requirements of the UK Government's Cyber Essentials scheme. It doesn't replace a formal CE assessment, but it ensures your asset register evidence is always up to date.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No contracts. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Your data remains accessible until the end of the billing period.
What's the Cyber Essentials add-on?
A dedicated Cyber Essentials module is in development — providing structured evidence collection and readiness checklists tailored to CE and CE+ assessments. Join the waiting list from your account settings.
